Graduated in Biological Sciences and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Sao Paulo State University - Unesp, Rio Claro, Brazil. Performed a 6-month internship for the development of a doctoral dissertation at Keele University (United Kingdom) at the Chemical Ecology Group - Lennard-Jones Laboratories, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. E.D. Morgan and Dr. Falko P. Drijfhout. She is in her second postdoctoral and has completed 1 year postdoctoral internship at the Department of Experimental Biology, Masaryk University (Czech Republic). She Has experience in internal morphology of social insects, chemical ecology and applied ecology, focusing on histology and ultrastructure, acting on the following subjects: bees, termites, leaf-cutting ants, histochemistry, cytochemistry, cell alterations, aging and cell death, glandular and cuticular chemical composition, surface pheromones, non-specific pesticides, toxicity; immune defense system, antioxidants.
Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas e Mestrado e Doutorado em Biologia Celular e Molecular pela Universidade Estadual Paulista - Unesp, Rio Claro. Realizou estágio de 6 meses, para desenvolvimento da tese de doutorado, na Keele University (UK) junto ao Chemical Ecology Group - Lennard-Jones Laboratories, sob supervisão do Profº. Dr. E.D. Morgan e Dr. Falko P. Drijfhout. Concluiu segundo pós doutorado em março de 2020. Concluiu 1 ano de estágio de pós doutorado no Departament of Experimental Biology, Masaryk University (Czech Republic). Tem experiência na área de morfologia interna de insetos sociais, ecologia química e ecologia aplicada, com ênfase em histologia e ultraestrutura, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: abelhas, cupins, formigas-cortadeiras, histoquímica, citoquímica, alterações celulares, envelhecimento e morte celular, composição química glandular e cuticular, feromônios de superfície, agrotóxicos não específicos, toxicidade; sistema de defesa imune, antioxidantes.
