Fabrício Bradaschia

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1983, he holds the titles of Bachelor, Master, and Doctor in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife, Brazil, earned in 2006, 2008, and 2012, respectively. From August 2008 to August 2009, he worked as a visiting researcher at the Grupo de Ingeniería Electrónica Aplicada a Sistemas de Energías Renovables (GEISER) of the University of Alcalá and the Grupo de Investigación en Electrónica Aplicada (APERT) of the University of the Basque Country, Spain.Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco since October 2013. In recognition of his research contributions, he received "The Best Paper Award" at the 20th IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE 2011) and the "Honorable Mention" at the 14th Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP 2017).He actively participates in professional societies, having served as the treasurer of the Brazilian Power Electronics Society (SOBRAEP) during the 2018-2019 term and as the vice-chair of the IEEE IAS, PES, PEL Northeast Joint Chapter during 2020-2021.He holds the distinction of being a Senior Member of the IEEE since 2019 and has been a member of SOBRAEP since 2012. His research focuses on Power Electronics applications in renewable energy systems, particularly in the field of photovoltaics, and power quality.

Recebeu os títulos de Bacharel, Mestre e Doutor em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Recife, Brasil, em 2006, 2008 e 2012, respectivamente. De agosto de 2008 a agosto de 2009, trabalhou como pesquisador visitante no Grupo de Ingeniería Electrónica Aplicada a Sistemas de Energías Renovables (GEISER) da Universidad de Alcalá e no Grupo de Investigación en Electrónica Aplicada (APERT) da Universidad del País Vasco, Espanha.Desde outubro de 2013, atua como Professor Adjunto no Departamento de Engenharia Elétrica da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Em 2011, recebeu o prêmio "The Best Paper Award" no 20th IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE 2011) e, em 2017, recebeu o prêmio "Menção Honrosa" no 14 Congresso Brasileiro de Eletrônica de Potência (COBEP 2017).Na gestão 2018-2019, atuou como tesoureiro da Associação Brasileira de Eletrônica de Potência (SOBRAEP). Na gestão 2020-2021, atuou como vice-chair do Capítulo conjunto IAS, PES, PEL Nordeste 1 pertencente à Seção Nordeste do IEEE.Desde 2019, é Senior Member do IEEE e, desde 2012, é membro efetivo da SOBRAEP. Sua área de pesquisa é aplicações de Eletrônica de Potência em sistemas de energias renováveis (fotovoltaica) e qualidade da energia elétrica.
