Beatriz Maria de Loyola Hummell

Currently acts as a Visiting Research Scientist at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands. Main research interests are social vulnerability and population exposure to natural hazards, disaster diplomacy and humanitarianism. Doctor of Science in Urban Management by the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (2014). Has masters degree in Urban Management (2010) and bachelor degree in Architecture and Urbanism (2007) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, and technologist degree in Graphic Arts Technology from the Federal Technologic University of Paraná (2005).
