Doutorando em Saúde Coletiva pelo Instituto de Saúde Coletiva da UFBA, na área de Planificação e Gestão em Serviços de Saúde. Mestre em Saúde Coletiva pela Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana, na área de Políticas, Planejamento e Gestão em Saúde. Mestre em HIV pela Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Especialista em Desenvolvimento Social pela FLACSO Argentina. Especialista em Epistemologias do Sul pelo Comitê Latino-americano de Ciências Sociais (CLACSO). Graduado em Medicina Geral pela Universidade de San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC). Membro do Programa Integrado de Pesquisa e Cooperação Técnica em Formação e Avaliação da Atenção Básica (ISC/UFBA). Membro do Núcleo de Saúde Coletiva (NUSC/UEFS). Membro da Red Internacional en Salud Colectiva y Salud Intercultural (REDSACSIC). Ex-Bolsista da Organização de Estados Americanos e Grupo COIMBRA (2015-2017). Possui experiência clínica em HIV e DST com pessoas em condição de vulnerabilidade e LGBTQIA+. Atualmente vem desenvolvendo pesquisas relativas à área de políticas públicas e planejamento em saúde. Foi membro do Instituto de Salud Incluyente (Guatemala).

He is currently developing research related to public policy and health planning. He was a member of the Instituto de Salud Incluyente (Guatemala).
