Fernando Franco Codevilla

Adjunct Professor at the Department of Visual Arts at the Federal University of Santa Maria and at the Graduate Program in Visual Arts (PPGART/UFSM). Doctor in Arts from UNESP (2015), Master in Visual Arts, in the Art and Technology line from UFSM (2011) and Bachelor in Social Communication, qualification Advertising and Propaganda, from UFSM (2006). He was a professor at the Franciscan University, between 2014 and 2019, working in undergraduate and graduate courses. He is deputy leader of the Art and Technology Research Group / CNPq; coordinator of the Technology and Digital Media Research Laboratory (LABART/UFSM); coordinator of the Video, Image and Sound Laboratory (VIS/UFSM). He is currently head of the Visual Arts department / UFSM. He develops research and poetic production in art, science and technology. He has been working with audiovisual editing and finishing since 2001; develops audiovisual projects in video art, cinema, photography and music.

Professor Adjunto no Departamento de Artes Visuais da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais (PPGART/UFSM). Doutor em Artes pela UNESP (2015), mestre em Artes Visuais, na linha Arte e Tecnologia pela UFSM (2011) e bacharel em Comunicação Social, habilitação Publicidade e Propaganda, pela UFSM (2006). Foi docente na Universidade Franciscana, entre 2014 e 2019, com atuação na graduação e pós-graduação. É vice-líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Arte e Tecnologia/CNPq; coordenador do Laboratório de Pesquisa em Tecnologia e Mídias Digitais (LABART/UFSM); coordenador do Laboratório de Vídeo, Imagem e Som (VIS/UFSM). Atualmente é chefe do departamento de Artes Visuais/UFSM. Desenvolve pesquisa e produção poética em arte, ciência e tecnologia através do vídeo e arte computacional. Trabalha com montagem e finalização audiovisual desde 2001.
