Carla Etiene Mendonça da Silva

Doutora e mestre em Ciências Sociais, especialista em Estudos Comparados sobre as Américas, pelo Instituto de Ciências Sociais (ICS) da Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Coordenadora de projetos de capacitação no Latin American Women's Rights Service (LAWRS) em Londres, Reino Unido. Pesquisadora do Grupo de Pesquisa Comunicação Eleitoral (CEL) da linha de pesquisa Comunicação e Política do Programa de Pós-graduação em Comunicação da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). Foi assistente de pesquisa no Department of Communication and Media da University of Liverpool, Reino Unido, em 2021; no MediaLab do Centro de Investigação e Estudos de Sociologia (CIES-IUL) do Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE), Portugal, entre 2018 e 2019; e pesquisadora visitante na Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism da University of Southern California (USC), Estados Unidos, entre 2012 e 2013. Bacharel pela Faculdade de Biblioteconomia e Comunicação Social (Fabico) com ênfase em Jornalismo pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Especialista em Relações Internacionais pelo Instituto de Relações Internacionais (Irel) da UnB. Realizou atividades de pós-doutorado no Departamento de Economia e Relações Internacionais (Deri) (2020-2021 e 2017-2018) e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Política (PPGPOL) (2017-2018) da UFRGS. Redatora voluntária de Internacional da revista The New Feminist do Reino Unido.
