Pedro Ivo Pinto Oliveira

Engenheiro Mecânico-Aeronáutico formado pelo Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) em 1999. Mestre em Ciências também pelo ITA, na área de Mecânica da Fratura e Fadiga, desde 2012. Atualmente, faz parte do quadro de oficiais engenheiros da Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB) e trabalha como pesquisador no Instituto de Aeronáutica e Espaço (IAE). Tem experiência nas áreas de manutenção de aeronaves e de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento no setor aeroespacial, com ênfase em Fadiga, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: dta, fadiga, mecânica da fratura e integridade estrutural.

Graduated in Mechanical Aeronautical Engineering from the Aeronautical Institute of Technology - ITA (1999) and Master's degree in Mechanics from Aeronautical Institute of Technology - ITA (2012). During his masters he developed a Brazilian Air Force alternative for Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT), incrising the reliability of Non Destructive Inspection (NDI), and applied the methodology in the F-5EM fleet. Between 2000 and 2010, he worked with aicraft maintenance. In 2012, he worked as head of the Structural Integrity Subdivision at the Institute of Aeronautics and Space (IAE), and as Executive Chief of the Information Technology Division. Since 2014, he has been the Executive Chief of the Aerodynamics Division at IAE. He is currently a Major of the Brazilian Air Force.
