Substitute teaching the undergraduate course of Nursing Campus Amilcar Ferreira Sobral UFPI . Member of the Center for Studies and Research on Human Care and Nursing NEPECHE-UFPI. It acts as a nurse on duty at the Cancer Combat Piauiense Association - São Marcos Hospital. He participated in the extension project, a touch of life: health promotion, funded by the Ministry of Education MEC-SESU. ad hoc reviewer of the Cuban Journal of Enfermería. It has interest in the area of Popular Health Education and Health Promotion with emphasis on Women's Health and Oncology.

Professor Adjunto I do Curso de Graduação em Enfermagem da Universidade Estadual do Piauí (UESPI) e do Centro Universitário Santo Agostinho, fazendo parte do Núcleo Docente Estruturante de ambos os cursos. Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa em Cuidados Integrais à Saúde - GPCIS. Integrante do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre o Cuidar Humano e Enfermagem NEPECHE - UFPI, Núcleo de Pesquisa em Prevenção e Controle de Infecção em Serviços de Saúde -NUPCISS - UFPI e do Grupo de Pesquisa Interdisciplinar em Ciências da Saúde GPICS - UFPI. Editor Associado da Revista de Enfermagem da UFPI. Participou do Programa Nacional de Cooperação Acadêmica (PROCAD) com missão discente na Universidade Federal do Ceará (2016). Tem interesse pela área de Educação em Enfermagem, Metodologias de ensino na saúde, Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem e Promoção da Saúde com ênfase em Saúde Pública e Oncologia.
