Juliana Soares Fagundes

He has been part of the NPPJ research group since 2011 and currently assists in the coordination of the Reference Center for Material Culture of Family Farming - Sítio de Saluzinho. He holds a master's degree in plant production (2019) and a degree in forestry engineering (2014) both from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - ICA / UFMG. He received a scientific initiation scholarship and in the EXP - B and EXP-C modalities from CNPq and a FAPEMIG scholarship. He has experience in rural extension and research on family farming, sovereignty and food security, traditional knowledge, water and open markets.

Integra o grupo de pesquisa NPPJ desde de 2011 e atualmente auxilia na coordenação do Centro de Referência da Cultura Material da Agricultura Familiar (Sítio de Saluzinho). Possui mestrado em produção vegetal (2019) e graduação em engenharia florestal (2014) ambas pelo Instituto de Ciências Agrárias da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (ICA/UFMG). Foi bolsista de iniciação cientifica e nas modalidades EXP - B e EXP- C do CNPq e bolsista FAPEMIG. Possui experiência em extensão rural e pesquisas sobre agricultura familiar, soberania e segurança alimentar, conhecimentos tradicionais, água e feira livre.
