Ricardo Gentil de Araújo Pereira

Obtained an Electrical Engineer's Bachelor Degree (2001), Philosophy's Licentiate Degree (2017) and Philosophy's Master Degree (2012), all of them at Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Is interested in the following subjects: logic, epistemology, argumentation theory, ethics, politics, social contract and the conflict between faith and reason. Interested also, in a more specific way, in the relation between probability and belief, in the definitions of truth and reason, in belief ethics and in the problem of indoctrination in the context of education.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Elétrica (2001), licenciatura em Filosofia (2017) e mestrado em Filosofia (2012), todos pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Atualmente interessando nos seguintes temas: lógica, epistemologia, teoria da argumentação, ética, política, contrato social e conflito entre fé e razão, de maneira geral. Também tem interesse mais específico na relação entre probabilidade e crença, nas definições de verdade e de racionalidade, em ética da crença e na problemática da doutrinação no ambiente de ensino.
