André Pedro da Silva

André Pedro da Silva is an associate professor of Portuguese at the Institute of Letters of the Federal University of Bahia. He holds a master's degree in Linguistics and Portuguese Language and a doctorate in Linguistics, both from the Federal University of Paraíba. He also works as a professor of the Professional Postgraduate Program in Letters (PROFLETRAS) at the same institution and at the University of Pernambuco-UPE. He also works as a professor of the Letters course at the Academic Unit of Distance Education and Technology (UAEADTec) at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - UFRPE. The professor participates as a researcher in the HITEL Research Group (Historicity of Text and Language Teaching), from 2018 to the present date and coordinated, from 2013 to 2020, at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, the Research Project Relation between Speech and Writing (REFALES). He was part of the Board of Directors of the Grupo de Estudos Linguísticos do Nordeste (GELNE) in the 2014-2016 and 2016-2018 biennia. Today, he is a member of the Board of Directors of GELNE, biennium 2020-2022. In addition, he has experience in the field of Linguistics and has published scientific articles and book chapters, with an emphasis on Linguistic Theory and Analysis, mainly addressing the following topics: phonology, linguistic variation, orthographic deviations, phonology and teaching.

André Pedro da Silva é professor associado de Língua Portuguesa do Instituto de Letras da Universidade Federal da Bahia. É mestre em Linguística e Língua Portuguesa e doutor em Linguística ambos pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba. Atua também como coordenador e professor do Programa de Pós-Graduação Profissional em Letras (PROFLETRAS). O professor participa como pesquisador do Grupo de Pesquisa Historicidade do Texto e Ensino de Língua - HISTEL, desde o ano de 2018 até a presente data. Além disso, coordenou, de 2013 a 2020, na Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco, o Projeto de Pesquisa Relação entre Fala e Escrita - REFALES. O mesmo fez parte da Diretoria do Grupo de Estudos Linguísticos do Nordeste - GELNE - nos biênios 2014-2016 e 2016-2018. Hoje encontra-se como Conselheiro Titular do GELNE, biênio 2020-2022. Além disso, possui experiência na área de Linguística e conta com publicações de artigos científicos e de capítulos de livros, com ênfase em Teoria e Análise Linguística, abordando, principalmente, os seguintes temas: fonologia, variação linguística, desvios ortográficos, fonologia e ensino.
