Márcio Andrei Sousa Amazonas

Professor Titular do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas ? IFAM desde 2023. Possui graduação em Bacharelado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Amazonas (2001), mestrado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Amazonas (2003) e doutorado em Física pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2012) ambos na área da Física da Matéria Condensada, tendo como linha de pesquisa o estudo das propriedades da matéria utilizando métodos numéricos computacionais. No IFAM assumiu as coordenações do curso de Licenciatura em Física, do Mestrado Nacional Profissional em Ensino de Física e coordenação de programas governamentais de apoio à docência como PIBID, PRODOCÊNCIA e RESIDÊNCIA PEDAGÓGICA. Na docência atua principalmente no curso de Licenciatura em Física onde tem assumido as disciplinas da sua matriz curricular, orientação de alunos tanto em projetos de pesquisa quanto em trabalhos de conclusão de curso. Desenvolve trabalhos principalmente na área de ensino de Física (TDIC e metodologias ativas) e implantou um projeto de extensão denominado Física Itinerante que tem por objetivo levar experimentos de física para as escolas da rede pública de ensino. Juntamente com os alunos do curso, criou o evento anual intitulado Dia do Físico, que ocorre no mês de maio desde 2015. Participou da comissão que elaborou o PPC do curso de Licenciatura Intercultural Indígena em Física e Licenciatura em Física na modalidade EAD. Na Pró-Reitoria de Ensino exerceu o cargo de Coordenador Geral de Formação Docente, onde trabalhou na atualização dos PPCs dos cursos de Licenciatura e elaboração de políticas para formação docente na instituição. Atualmente exerce a função de PROCURADOR EDUCACIONAL do IFAM coordenando institucionalmente os processos de regulação, avaliação e supervisão do ensino superior junto à SERES-MEC.

Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas ? IFAM since 2023. Graduated in Bachelor of Physics from the Federal University of Amazonas (2001), Master's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Amazonas (2003) and PhD in Physics from the University Federal de São Carlos (2012) both in the area of Condensed Matter Physics, with the study of the properties of matter using computational numerical methods as a line of research. At IFAM he took over the coordination of the Degree in Physics course, the National Professional Master's Degree in Physics Teaching and coordination of government programs to support teaching such as PIBID, PRODOCÊNCIA and RESIDENCIA PEDAGÓGICA. In teaching, he works mainly in the Licentiate in Physics course, where he has taken on the disciplines of its curriculum, guiding students both in research projects and in course conclusion works. He develops work mainly in the area of teaching Physics (TDIC and active methodologies) and has implemented an extension project called itinerant Physics, which aims to take physics experiments to public schools. Together with the students of the course, he created the annual event entitled Dia do Físico, which takes place in the month of May since 2015. He participated in the committee that prepared the PPC of the Intercultural Indigenous Degree in Physics and the Degree in Physics in the distance learning modality. At the Pro-Rectory of Teaching, he held the position of General Coordinator of Teacher Training, where he worked on updating the PPCs of Licentiate courses and preparing policies for teacher training at the institution. He currently works as an EDUCATIONAL ATTORNEY at IFAM, institutionally coordinating the processes of regulation, evaluation and supervision of higher education with SERES-MEC.
