Artist and researcher. Doctorate in Visual Poetics (ECA, USP), Master in Visual Poetics at (ECA, USP), Bachelor of Fine Arts (CEART, UDESC). In my research I?m interested in insurgent practices connected to the land and the many possibilities of garden creation. These are gardens that are often events, which rather than occupying a specific physical space, propose temporary relationships between people. They can be totally fictional and ephemeral or integrate the daily complexities of specific urban contexts. my research project, entitled ?Insurgent_Resurgent Practices connected to the land?, I propose to investigate contemporary artistic practices related to gardening and land cultivation to reflect and understand ways of doing that go beyond and reinterpret the notion of gardening as the mere cultivation of ornamental plant species for the delight of aesthetic contemplation. To this end, I take a look at gardens, cultivation areas and artistic practices that evoke reflections on deeper layers, not always visible, calling attention to issues related to the appropriation and use of land, historical narratives, ways of living and belong to a territory and the relationships established between humanity and nature.

Atualmente desenvolve em seu doutorado uma investigação experimental sobre práticas poéticas artísticas interessadas no cultivo, no uso, na ocupação e num pensar com a (T)terra na arte contemporânea. Tais práticas poéticas elaboram outras abordagens e visões sobre o sentido de habitar a terra, o manejo do solo e o cultivo de plantas, fornecendo diferentes contribuições para se pensar e inquietar as concepções clássicas de jardim e de paisagem, assim como o binômio Natureza/ Cultura.
