Pharmacist, Master's Degree in Biology of the Host-Parasite Relationships at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) and Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine and Public Health at the Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health, also at UFG. Worked as Data Scientist and Computational Toxicologist at InsilicAll. Nowadays, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (EUA). Professional with over six years of experience in machine learning, analytics, and data science focused on drug discovery and toxicology. He is enthusiastic and passionate about developing computational methods that help to replace animal testing and to deliver chemical products (including drugs) faster to the market. Worked on many RD projects of drug discovery (for schistosomiasis, Trypanosomiasis, Malaria, and Zika virus), development of new molluscicide compounds, and development of machine learning-based platforms for predicting chemical compounds' biological activities and properties.
