Graduate in History with MA in Pedagogy - Universidad de Jaén (1998), obtained his PhD (magna cum laude) in Human Rights and Development - Universidad Pablo de Olavide (2005) with a thesis about Human Rights through World Social Forum in Porto Alegre (Brazil). Has experience as fellowship, lecturer and researcher in Politics and Sociology in universities and research groups from European Union, Argentina, Colombia and Brazil, where he has developed, as visiting felloship, various research projects awarded with european funds and lectured in Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina´s Law and Social Service post-graduation programs. His academic career, resarch skills and experience as lecturer in graduate and post-graduate programs is focused on Human Rights, Social Movements, Democracy, Globalization, International Relations, Citizenship and Social Participation. In addition, he has been linked to university management of international abroad and exchange programs developing projects with United Nations, UNESCO Chairs/UNITWIN and European Union.
