Selene Elifio Esposito

Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade de Brasília (1993), mestrado (1996) e doutorado (2001) em Ciências (Bioquímica) pela Universidade Federal do Paraná, e estágio sênior no Lombardi Cancer Center, Georgetown University, Washington, DC, EUA (2016). É professora titular da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná desde 2000 e vinculada ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Saúde desde 2014. Tem experiência na área de Bioquímica, atuando principalmente no estudo de toxinas com ação antitumoral e fatores determinantes da progressão tumoral em neuroblastoma.

Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the University of Brasilia (1993), Master (1996) and PhD (2001) in Sciences (Biochemistry) from the Federal University of Paraná. She participated as a fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Luciane Cavalli at the Lombardi Cancer Center, Georgetown University, Washington, DC, USA (2016). She has been a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná since 2000 and has been linked to the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences since 2011. She has experience in the field of Biochemistry, working mainly in the study of toxins with antitumor action. Recently initiated projects for the study of factors determining tumor progression in neuroblastoma.
