O pesquisador possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade de Pernambuco (2000). Especialista em Gestão Ambiental pela Universidade de Pernambuco (2012), tendo obtido os títulos de Mestre (2003) e Doutor (2011) nos anos anteriores pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco onde se especializou em Geotecnia Ambiental. Concluiu o curso superior em Gestão Ambiental pelo SENAC/SP, além de tornar-se especialista em Segurança do Trabalho pela Estácio de Sá (RJ), ambos em 2022. Atuou como consultor do Ministério das Cidades em 2006 para estudos de biogás e obtenção de crédito de carbono. Atualmente é Professor do Instituto Federal de Pernambuco (Campus Recife), onde coordena o Grupo de Poluição e Contaminação Ambiental do IFPE. Também leciona na Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (UNICAP) no departamento de Engenharia Ambiental, Química, Ciências Biológicas e Civil, onde também é coordenador do Curso de Especialização "Gestão e Controle de Áreas Contaminadas por Resíduos Sólidos". Professor permanente do Mestrado do Instituto Tecnológico de Pernambuco (ITEP) na área de gestão de resíduos sólidos e contaminação ambiental, tendo concluído curso "Municipal Solid Waste Management in Developing Countries" pela École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne da França. Perito Ambiental na área de Contaminação e Remediação de áreas contaminadas por resíduos sólidos.
The researcher has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pernambuco (2000). Specialist in Environmental Management from the University of Pernambuco (2012), having obtained the titles of Master (2003) and Doctor (2011) in previous years from the Federal University of Pernambuco where he specialized in Environmental Geotechnics. He completed a higher education course in Environmental Management at SENAC/SP, in addition to becoming a specialist in Occupational Safety at Estácio de Sá (RJ), both in 2022. He served as a consultant to the Ministry of Cities in 2006 for biogas studies and carbon credit. He is currently a Professor at the Federal Institute of Pernambuco (Recife Campus), where he coordinates the IFPE Environmental Pollution and Contamination Group, assigned to the Sanitation department. He also teaches at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP) in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biological and Civil Sciences, where he is also coordinator of the Specialization Course "Management and Control of Areas Contaminated by Solid Waste". Permanent professor of the Master's Degree at the Instituto Tecnológico de Pernambuco (ITEP) in the area of solid waste management and environmental contamination, having completed the course "Municipal Solid Waste Management in Developing Countries" at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in France.
