Liliane Assis Sade Resende

Liliane Assis Sade Resende holds PhD (2009) and Master's (2003) degree in Applied Linguistics, research line: Teaching and Learning of Foreign Languages, from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil. She is a professor at the Department of Letters, Arts and Culture at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ), where she is responsible for English language teaching, Teaching Practice and Internship Supervision. Currently (from 2012 to date), she holds the position of Director of International Affairs at UFSJ. She was Institutional Coordinator of the following Brazilian national programs: Science without Borders (2012-2017) and English without Borders (2013-2015). At the moment, she is also the Institutional Coordinator (since 2015) of the Overseas Portuguese Flagship Program. Her research interests center on the interrelationship between learning and identity reconstruction, project-based language learning methodology, and the intercultural dimension of learning.

Liliane Assis Sade Resende possui doutorado (2009) e mestrado (2003) em Lingüística Aplicada, linha de pesquisa: Ensino e Aprendizagem de Línguas Estrangeiras, pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brasil. É professora do Departamento de Letras, Artes e Cultura da Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei (UFSJ), onde é responsável pelo ensino de língua inglesa, Prática de Ensino e Orientação de Estágio. Atualmente (de 2012 até a presente data), ocupa o cargo de Assessora para Assuntos Internacionais da UFSJ. Foi Coordenadora Institucional dos seguintes programas nacionais brasileiros: Ciência sem Fronteiras (2012-2017) e Inglês sem Fronteiras (2013 - 2015). É Coordenadora Institucional (desde 2015) do Overseas Portuguese Flagship Program. Os seus interesses de pesquisa centram-se na inter-relação entre aprendizagem e reconstrução identitária, metodologias de ensino de línguas com base em projetos e a dimensão intercultural da aprendizagem.
