Davi Marcelo Soares

Graduado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Itajubá (Unifei) em 2015 com período sanduíche de 2012-2013 na Arizona State University. Durante o verão de 2013 estagiou no departamento NPI (New Product Introduction) na General Electric (GE) em Erie, Pennsylvania. Em 2014 foi bolsista de iniciação científica no programa Jovens Talentos para a Ciência com pesquisa sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Serge Mendonça, visitante da Universidade do Porto - Portugal, no Laboratorio de Alta Tensão da Universidade Federal de Itajubá (LAT-EFEI). Em 2018 concluiu mestrado na Faculdade de Engenharia Elétrica da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) com período sanduíche na Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) - Japão. Possui Ph.D. em Engenharia Mecânica por Kansas State University, sonde foi orientado pelo Prof. Dr. Gurpreet Singh, no NanoScience and Engineering Laboratory.

Graduated in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Itajubá (Unifei) with masters degree by University of Campinas (Unicamp). During summer 2013, interned at NPI (New Product Introduction) department at General Electric (GE) Transportation Systems in Erie, PA. In 2014 received Young Talent for Science scholarship on research under supervision of Dr. Serge Mendonça, visiting professor from Porto University - Portugal, at High Voltage Laboratory of UNIFEI (LAT-EFEI). In 2018 finished his masters in Electrical Engineering at University of Campinas (Unicamp), with exchange period at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) - Japan. Holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, advised by Dr. Gurpreet Singh at NanoScience and Engineering Laboratory.
