Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of York (2021) and University of Reading (2021-2022). I have finished my PhD at the University of Reading, working as a joint-PhD between the School of Biological Sciences and Henley Business School, funded under a CAPES Brazilian scholarship. My work investigate different mechanisms that 'lock-in' food systems to unsustainable pathways, and it evaluated how these mechanisms vary across nations through a holistic, interdisciplinary lens. The project focused on providing a comprehensive approach to decision making processes facing complex and interdependent systems, in the presence of malnutrition, population growth & aging, climate change, and biodiversity loss. It aimed to fill some key research gaps in order to stimulate the development of must needed action plans and to provide science and policy a more accessible dialogue to increase the chances of achieving the SDGs related to food systems.

Tem experiência nas áreas de Sistemas Alimentares, Sustentabilidade, Nutrição, Epidemiologia, Atenção Primária a Saúde (Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde do Grupo Hospitalar Conceição, GHC), Fisiologia Experimental e Nutrição Esportiva. Desenvolveu projetos de pesquisa no Núcleo de Pesquisa em Nutrição (NUPEN) da UFCSPA entre 2014 e 2016.
