Felipe Douglas Silva

Master of Science from the University of São Paulo (Biotechnology Center of IPEN) with emphasis on Biotechnology. Bachelor in Engineering of Biotechnology and Bioprocesses by Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). He has experience in the areas of molecular and cellular biology, cell culture (HEK293 and CHO), transfection, expression, characterization and purification of recombinant proteins. It is currently part of the research group of pituitary hormones of the Center for Biotechnology (IPEN) and the project linked to the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN), with the objective of synthesizing recombinant proteins and evaluating their antitumor potential in in vitro bioassays.

Mestre em Ciências pela Universidade de São Paulo (Centro de Biotecnologia do IPEN) com ênfase em Biotecnologia. Bacharel em Engenharia de Biotecnologia e Bioprocessos pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG). Possui experiencia nas áreas de biologia molecular e celular, cultura de células (HEK293 e CHO), transfecção, expressão, caracterização e purificação de proteínas recombinantes. Atualmente faz parte do grupo de pesquisa dos Hormônios Hipofisários do Centro de Biotecnologia (IPEN) e do projeto vinculado a Comissão Nacional de Energia Nuclear (CNEN), com o objetivo de sintetizar proteínas recombinantes e avaliar o seu potencial antitumoral em bioensaios in vitro.
