Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Mestre em Biologia Celular e Molecular pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Biologia Celular e Molecular da PUCRS. Doutora em Ciências, com ênfase em Farmacologia Bioquímica e Molecular pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Medicina e Ciências da Saúde da PUCRS. Participou do programa institucional de internacionalização PRINT edital 041/2017 no qual recebeu uma bolsa concedida pela CAPES para fazer seu Doutorado Sanduíche no Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) ? Seattle, WA, Estados Unidos da América. Atualmente é pos-doutoranda no Global Infectious Disease Research - Seattle Children's Research Institute ? Seattle, WA, Estados Unidos da América onde atua no desenvolvimento de fármacos para tuberculose, sob supervisão da Dra. Tanya Parish. Possui treinamento em laboratório de biosegurança nível 3 e experiência nas áreas de biologia celular e molecular, clonagem, expressão e purificação de proteínas e cinética enzimática.

Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Master in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology, PUCRS. Currently a PhD student at the Graduate Program in Medicine and Health Sciences in the area of ​​concentration in Biochemical and Molecular Pharmacology at PUCRS. The main PhD project has the general objective of validating enzymes of the shikimic acid pathway in Mycobacterium tuberculosis as vulnerable molecular targets for the development of new antimycobacterial compounds, using gene knockout and CRISPRi methodologies. Posses training in a level 3 biosafety laboratory and experience in the areas of molecular biology, cloning, protein expression, protein purification and enzymatic kinetics.
