I am a Bachelor in Biological Sciences by the Universidade Federal de Viçosa - UFV (2007), hold a Master's Degree in Ecology by the Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (2010), and a Doctorate in Ecology and Evolution by the Universidade Federal de Goiás - UFG. I have experience in the fields of quantitative ecology, landscape ecology, tri-trophic interactions, and species distribution modelling, with studies mainly focused on the biology and ecology of bees, dragonflies and damselflies, and insects in general. CUrrently I am a professor at the Instituto Federal Goiano, campus Urutaí. Current, I am an associate editor in the following journals: PLoS One (2018- ), PeerJ (2020- ), Biodiversity Data journal (2021- ), Nature Conservation (2021- ), Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution (2021-), Frontiers in Bee Science (2022-), and Journal of Insect Conservation (2023-). Sou bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa - UFV (2007), mestre em Ecologia pela Universidade de Campinas - UNICAMP (2010) e doutorado em Ecologia e Evolução pela Universidade Federal de Goiás - UFG (2014). Possuo experiência nas áreas de ecologia quantitativa, ecologia de paisagens, interações tri-tróficas e modelagem de distribuição de espécies, com trabalhos relacionados, principalmente, à biologia e ecologia de abelhas, libélulas, insetos em geral e espécies invasoras. Atualmente, sou professor de adjunto de Ecologia Geral, Ecologia de Populações e Comunidades, Evolução, Comportamento Animal, Manejo e Conservação da Biodiversidade e Ecologia de Paisagens no Instituto Federal Goiano, campus Urutaí.
