Edward Horatio Borgstein

Edward Borgstein graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2009, with a first class degree and Masters in engineering for energy and the environment. He is a specialist in building design and optimisation of energy systems; in 2014 he founded Mitsidi Projetos. Edward has been awarded prizes for energy efficiency projects, including the CIBSE Building Performance award, and currently works on energy in buildings, industry and public policy. He has authored several publications and leads the energy benchmarking project of the Brazilian Sustainable Construction Council.

Mestre em engenharia de energia e meio-ambiente pela University of Cambridge (2009), Edward é e sócio-fundador da Mitsidi Projetos e especialista em otimização de sistemas energéticas. Premiado com o CIBSE Building Performance Award (entre outros) para projetos de eficiência energética, Edward vem atuando nas áreas de energia em edificações, indústria, geração de conhecimento e políticas públicas.É autor de diversas publicações e líder do projeto de benchmarking no Conselho Brasileiro de Construção Sustentável.
