Leonardo Diniz Lameiras

Doutorando em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade de São Paulo (IRI-USP) e pelo King's College London (Reino Unido). Bacharel em Relações Internacionais pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2008), tendo cursado parte da graduação na Universidade de Maastricht (Países Baixos; 2007). Possui MBA em Comércio Exterior e Negócios Internacionais pela FGV-Rio (2014) e Mestrado em Relações Internacionais - na área de concentração em Política Internacional e Comparada - pela Universidade de Brasília (IREL-UnB; 2017), instituição onde teve seus estudos financiados pelo CNPq. Atualmente, integra o Grupo de Pesquisa em Regulação e Políticas Públicas, do King's College London, e o Núcleo de Estudos em Política e Economia Internacional da USP (NEPEI-USP), e sua pesquisa versa sobre as políticas de comércio exterior dos EUA e da China e suas implicações para a governança do comércio global. Ademais, exerce a função de subchefe da Secretaria-Executiva do Fórum Nacional de Governadores.

Leonardo Lameiras is a PhD candidate in International Relations at the University of São Paulo (IRI-USP) and at King's College London (United Kingdom). He has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio; 2008), having also attended the undergraduate program at University of Maastricht (the Netherlands; 2007). He has completed a MBA on Foreign Trade and International Business at FGV-Rio (2014), and he holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Brasilia (IREL-UnB; 2017), institution where he studied as a CNPq fellow. For the time being, he is a member of the University of São Paulo's Center of International Politics and Economics (NEPEI-USP), and his research focuses on both the USA and China's foreign trade policies and on its implications for the global trade governance. Furthermore, he works as deputy chief at the Secretariat of the Brazilian Governors Forum.
