Amilcar Oliveira Barum

Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Catholic University of Pelotas (1985) and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1996). Degree in History at UFPel.(2012). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Pelotas. Has experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Electricity Generation, working mainly on the following topics: IN THE ENGINEERING AREA - energy, biomass, biodiesel and sustainable development. IN THE AREA OF HISTORY, he concentrates his studies on themes, work, history of the port organization, second world war, military history, holocaust, resistance movements.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Eletrica pela Universidade Católica de Pelotas (1985) e mestrado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1996). Graduado em Licenciatura em História na UFPel.(2012). Atualmente é professor da Universidade Federal de Pelotas. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Geração da Energia Elétrica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: NA ÁREA DE ENGENHARIA - energia, biomassa, biodiesel e desenvolvimento sustentável. NA ÁREA DE HISTÓRIA, concentra seus estudos nos temas, trabalho, história da organização portuária, segunda guerra mundial, história militar, holocausto, movimentos de resistência.
