Thiago Neuenschwander Galery

Thiago Neuenschwander Galery concluiu a graduação em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) em 2002 e obteve o grau de mestre pela mesma instituição em 2006. Em 2011 concluiu o doutorado em Linguística pela University College London (UCL). Desde 2000 tem se envolvido em projetos de pesquisa em lógica, filosofia da linguagem e da mente, linguística e áreas relacionadas. Mais especificamente, seus interesses incluem: a interface gramática/pragmática, arquitetura cognitiva, singularidade e generalidade na linguagem e pensamento, dependência contextual, deixis, anáfora, elipse, quantificação, linguística computacional, processamento de linguagens naturais, semântica distributivas e composicionais, análise de sentimento, Teoria da Relevância e Sintaxe Dinâmica.

Thiago Neuenschwander Galery has BA in philosophy from Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) (2002) and a MA in philosophy from the same institution (2006). In 2011, he obtained a PhD in Linguistics from University College London (UCL). Since 2000 he has been working in academic projects related to linguistics, logic and philosophy of language and mind and related areas. More specifically, he is interested in: the grammar/pragmatics interface, cognitive, architecture, singularity and generality in language and thought, contextual dependency, ellipsis, deixis, anaphora, quantification, computational linguistics, natural language processing, distributional and compositional semantics, sentiment analysis, Relevance Theory and Dynamic Syntax.
