Izabel Fernandez Monteiro

Izabel received her PhD in Physiology from the University of Barcelona - SPAIN and since 2005 have been working at two recognized research centres in Barcelona, known as "Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer" (IDIBAPS) and "Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques de Barcelona" (IIBB-CSIC).Has experience with Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, focusing on inflammation and regeneration mechanisms, related to Liver Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury.Currently, she is International Projects Manager at Leitat Technological Center (Barcelona), and responsible for the execution and implementation of projects in the field of Health funded by European Commission.
