Yuri Rossine de Lima Bezerra

Doutorando em Biologia Vegetal pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas e Mestre em Botânica pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE) e especialista em Docência em Biologia pela Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF). Durante a formação estudou sistemática de Euphorbiaceae Juss., principalmente com espécies da Caatinga dos gêneros Croton, Cnidoscolus, Jatropha, Manihot, Astraea e Acalypha. Atualmente desenvolve estudos envolvendo a sistemática e biogeografia de Croton sect. Lasiogyne (Klotzsch) Baill. Possui interesse nos seguintes temas: revisão taxonômica, filogenia molecular, nomenclatura, flora neotropical, florestas tropicais sazonalmente secas (SDTF) e floras regionais. Ph.D. student in Plant Biology at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Bachelor in Biological Sciences and Master in Botany by the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE) and specialist in Biology Teaching by the Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF). During my studies, I focused in the systematics of Euphorbiaceae Juss., mainly with species from the Caatinga Domain of the genera Croton, Cnidoscolus, Jatropha, Manihot, Astraea and Acalypha. I am currently developing studies involving the systematics and biogeography of Croton sect. Lasiogyne (Klotzsch) Baill. I am interested in the following topics: taxonomic review, molecular phylogeny, biogeography, nomenclature, neotropical flora, seasonally dry tropical forests (SDTF) and regional floras.
