Ivete Mello Calil Farah

Formada pela Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (FAU/UFRJ), com Mestrado e Doutorado em Urbanismo pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Urbanismo (PROURB) da FAU/UFRJ, e Pós-doutorado pelo Centre International de Recherche sur l Environnement et le Développement, na AgroParistech, em Paris, na França. É professora da FAU/UFRJ e atua no Mestrado Profissional de Arquitetura Paisagística PROURB Programa de Pós Graduação em Urbanismo. É autora do livro Poética das Árvores Urbanas (2008), autora e co-organizadora do livro Arquitetura Paisagística Contemporânea no Brasil (2010). Tem experiência na área de Paisagismo, com ênfase em Arborização Urbana, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: vegetação em projeto de paisagismo, Roberto Burle Marx e sistema de espaços livres.

Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro FAU/UFRJ, with a Master's and Doctorate in Urbanism from the Post-Graduate Program in Urbanism PROURB from FAU/UFRJ, and Post-doctorate from the Center International de Recherche sur l'Environnement et le Développement, at AgroParistech, in Paris, France. She is a professor at FAU / UFRJ and works on the Professional Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture at PROURB-Postgraduate Program in Urbanism. She is the author of the book Poética das Árvores Urbanas (2008), author and co-organizer of the book Arquitetura Paisagística Contemporânea no Brasil (2010). She has experience in the field of Landscaping, with an emphasis on Urban Forestry, working mainly on the following themes: vegetation in landscaping project, Roberto Burle Marx and open spaces system.
