Graduated in medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1976), Residency in General Surgery at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1979), Residency in Plastic Surgery at the Clínica Planas - Barcelona, Spain (1981), specialization in Plastic Surgery on New York University, USA (1982). Preceptorship exercised in Plastic Surgery for 14 years at the Plastic Surgery , Reconstructive and Microsurgery Service at the Hospital Santa Casa de Misericordia . Master's degree in the field of Surgical Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2010).
He is currently Medical Plastic Surgeon specialist and holder of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP), member of the International Society of Plastic Surgeons-ISAPS, member of the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery, member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) , member of the Brazilian Society of Videosurgery (SOBRACIL).
Academic coordinator of Plastic Surgery Service at Hospital São Lucas (PUCRS), scientific coordinator of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery / RS, coordinator of the Plastic Surgery Service of Hospital Moinhos de Vento - Porto Alegre/RS.
