Wellington Longuini Repette

Graduated in Civil Engineering from the State University of Londrina (1987), Master's in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1991) and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1997). Post-doctorate from the National Research Council Canada and the University of São Paulo. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Ottawa ? Canada, an associate researcher at the Institute for Research in Construction at NRC Canada and is a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC. Researches and coordinates projects at the Transport and Logistics Laboratory ? LabTrans ? and at the Laboratory for Applications of Nanotechnology in Civil Construction at the Department of Civil Engineering at UFSC. Authored patents on chemical additives in Canada and the United States. Received, among others, the Epaminondas Melo do Amaral Filho awards - Outstanding in High Performance Concrete ? IBRACON (2008); Lorne W. Gold Award 2001-2002 for Most Outstanding Paper, National Research Council Canada (2002) and Award for Researcher for Foreigner Specialist, Ministry of Construction of Japan - Building Research Institute (1999). Has extensive experience in the area of Civil Engineering, working in the areas of transportation infrastructure, concrete, durability of structures, nanotechnology, evaluation and repair of reinforced concrete structures. He is a member of the editorial board and an adhoc reviewer of national and international journals. He is a member of the American Concrete Institute, IBRACON, and ABNT working groups at ISO ? TC 071.

LabTrans ? e do Laboratório de Aplicações de Nanotecnologia em Construção Civil do Departamento de Engenharia Civil da UFSC. É autor de patentes de aditivos químicos no Canadá e nos Estados Unidos. Recebeu, dentro outros, os prêmios Epaminondas Melo do Amaral Filho - Destaque em Concreto de Alto Desempenho do Instituto Brasileiro do Concreto. ? IBRACON (2008); Lorne W. Tem larga experiência na área de Engenharia Civil, atuando nas áreas de infraestrutura de transportes, concreto, durabilidade das estruturas, nanotecnologia, avaliação e reparo de estruturas de concreto armado. É membro do corpo editorial e é avaliador adhoc de periódicos nacionais e internacionais. É membro do American Concrete Institute, do IBRACON, e de grupos de trabalho da ABNT junto à ISO ? TC 071.
