Iacy Pissolato Silvera

Doutora em Antropologia pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2020), desenvolveu pesquisa na interface entre ecologia, saúde e territorialidade através das práticas de cuidado de si, do outro e do planeta na região do Litoral Sul da Bahia. Cursou mestrado em Antropologia Social na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2016), desenvolvendo pesquisa sobre rendimentos da perspectiva de gênero para a Etnologia das Terras Baixas Sul-americanas. Possui graduação em Turismo pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2009), com pesquisa sobre construção de significados articulando lazer e trabalho. Atualmente trabalha como pesquisadora autônoma da Universidade de San Diego (SDSU), em pesquisa etnográfica sobre a pesca artesanal feminina no Sul da Bahia e Pesquisadora autônoma da Universidade de Ottawa, em pesquisa sobre as transformações socioambientais na região Sul da Bahia a partir da construção e operação do Porto Sul.

PhD in Anthropology from the Federal University of Bahia (2020). She has a degree in Tourism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2009), with research on the construction of meanings linking leisure and work. She is currently working as a freelance researcher at the University of San Diego (SDSU), doing ethnographic research on women's artisanal fishing in the South of Bahia, and as a freelance researcher at the University of Ottawa, doing research on socio-environmental transformations in the South of Bahia following the construction and operation of Porto Su
