Bianca Ferreira Gomes

Bianca is a researcher at ISQ (Welding and Quality Institute), Portugal, who currently has been working with welding technologies, additive manufacturing, and materials characterization. M.Sc. in metallurgical and materials engineering she graduated at COPPE/UFRJ - 2018. She had studied Wire arc additive manufacturing of Al alloys for her master thesis and Laser metal deposition of Ni alloys for her graduation project as a metallurgical engineer. Researcher intern at ISQ for 8 months (2018). R&D analyst at SENAI Welding Technology Institute (IST), Brazil, for 17 months (2016-2017). R&D intern at IST for 18 months (2015-2016). Metallurgical engineer exchange student for Science without borders program at the University of Alabama, USA, for 14 months (2013-2014) - Dean Honors list every term attedend.
