Lucas Gomes de Souza

Graduated in Biochemical Pharmacy from Paulista University - UNIP (2011). Master's degree with CAPES scholarship (2016) and PhD with FAPESP scholarship (2020) by the Interinstitutional Graduate Program in Physiological Sciences UFSCar/UNESP. Currently doing postdoctoral work (FAPESP) at the Laboratory of Neuropsychopharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Paulista State University (UNESP), with the sandwich period at the Institute of Life and Health Sciences at the Institute of Medicine of the University of Minho (UMinho, Braga, Portugal), through the Internship and Research Abroad (BEPE/FAPESP). My line of research is: the neural control of cardiovascular and behavioral changes induced by physical/emotional stress.

Possui graduação em Farmácia Bioquímica pela Universidade Paulista - UNIP (2011). Mestrado com bolsa CAPES (2016) e Doutorado com bolsa FAPESP (2020) pelo Programa Interinstitucional de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Fisiológicas UFSCar/UNESP. Atualmente realiza pós-doutorado (FAPESP) no Laboratório de Neuropsicofarmacologia da Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), com o período sanduíche no Instituto de Ciências da Vida e Saúde no Instituto de Medicina da Universidade do Minho (UMinho, Braga, Portugal), através da Bolsa Estágio e Pesquisa no Exterior (BEPE/FAPESP). Tem como linha de pesquisa: o controle neural nas alterações cardiovasculares e comportamentais induzidas pelo o estresse físico/emocional.
