Full Professor and Dean of the Natural Resources Institute - Federal University of Itajubá / MG, Brazil. Bachelor in Meteorology (1996), M.Sc. (1999) and Ph.D. (2003) in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of São Paulo. Postdoctoral studies: Service d'Aeronomie - Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI) - 2008-2009, LATMOS (Laboratoire Atmosphères, milieux, Observations Spatiales) - 2012, Universidad de Granada (2017) and Université de Lille (2018, 2019, and 2023).Major Research Subjects - Ultraviolet radiation, climate change and their interactions with the atmosphere (aerosols, clouds and ozone), exposome and human health (skin cancer, vitamin D production, awareness and prevention). Head of the researh group "Exposome, Environment, Information and Health (E+)" and member of the Technical-Scientific Council of the Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry (ABIHPEC), and of the Biodiversity, Pollution and Climate Commission of Brazilian Association of Allergy and Immunology (ASBAI). Professor Titular e Diretor do Instituto de Recursos Naturais da Universidade Federal de Itajubá/MG. É graduado em Meteorologia (1996), com mestrado (1999) e doutorado (2003) em Ciências pela Universidade de São Paulo. Fez pós-doutorado no Service d'Aeronomie da Université Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris VI (2008) e foi pesquisador visitante no LATMOS - Laboratoire Atmosphères, Milieux, Observations Spatiales, França (2012), na Universidad de Granada, Espanha (2017) e na Université de Lille, França (2018, 2019 e 2023).Principais áreas de pesquisa - Meteorologia Física e Mudanças Climáticas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: radiação ultravioleta e suas interações com a atmosfera (aerossóis, nuvens e ozônio), expossoma e saúde humana (câncer de pele, produção de vitamina D, conscientização e prevenção). Líder do grupo de pesquisas "Expossoma, Meio Ambiente, Informação e Saúde (E+)" e membro do Conselho Técnico-Cientifico da Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Higiene Pessoal, Perfumaria e Cosméticos (ABIHPEC) e da Comissão de Biodiversidade, Poluição e Clima da Associação Brasileira de Alergia e Imunologia(ASBAI).
