Joyce Aparecida Casimiro

Possui curso técnico em Edificações pelo SENAI - Anielo Greco (2012). Formada em Matemática Bacharelado na Universidade Federal de Itajubá (2016). Foi bolsista de iniciação científica pela CAPES, no programa Jovens Talentos para Ciência, onde estudou criptografia RSA e pelo CNPq no Programa de Iniciação Científica e Mestrado (PICME), destinado a medalhistas da OBMEP, onde estudou, além de diversos assuntos matemáticos, bifurcações em modelo não linear de equações diferenciais ordinárias para o câncer. Concluiu o mestrado em Matemática Pura no Instituto de Matemática, Estatística e Computação Científica da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) com bolsa FAPESP, estudando ciclos limite para sistemas dinâmicos suaves por partes em variedades compactas. Atualmente cursa o doutorado em matemática na UNICAMP, com bolsa FAPESP.

She has a technical degree in civil construction by SENAI - Anielo Greco (2012) and graduated in Mathematics by the Federal University of Itajubá (2016). She had a scientific initiation scolarship under CAPES' Jovens Talentos para Ciência (Young Talents for Science) programme, where she studied RSA cryptography. She also had a CNPq's Progamme for Scientific Initiation and Masters Degree (PICME) scolarship which is assigned to those students who won medals in the Brazilian Public Schools Mathematics Olympiad (OBMEP), where she studied among other mathematical subjects, bifurcations in nonlinear ordinary differential equations models for cancer. She obtained a masters degree (2019) in Mathematics by the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computation (IMECC) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) with a FAPESP grant studying limit cycles for piecewise smooth dynamical systems in compact manifolds. Currently, she is a PhD student at IMECC/UNICAMP.
