Fernando de Souza Antunes

Fernando de Souza Antunes has a Licentiate Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Acted as Substitute Professor in the Department of Geography at the same University. He is MSc from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and PHd student in Geography (Environmental Planning and Management), also from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was a scientific initiation intern and, since 2013, a researcher associated with the Cartography Laboratory / UFRJ (GeoCart), working mainly with cartography, geotechnologies and historical cartography applied to geoecology and territorial organization.

Fernando de Souza Antunes é bacharel e licenciado em Geografia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. É professor substituto no Departamento de Geografia da UFRJ. Foi pesquisador visitante na Louisiana State University (EUA). É mestre e doutorando em Geografia, também pela UFRJ. Foi estagiário de iniciação científica e, desde 2013, pesquisador associado ao Laboratório de Cartografia/UFRJ (GeoCart), atuando principalmente com cartografia, geotecnologias e cartografia histórica aplicadas à geoecologia e organização do território.
