SUELEN CRISTIANE FREITAG

Suelen Cristiane Freitag is an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Santa Maria, RS, Brazil, assigned to the Department of Electromechanics and Power Systems (DESP). In 2021, she worked at the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR), Jacarezinho campus, PR, Brazil, as a Substitute Professor linked to the Control and Automation Engineering Course and the Electrotechnics Course. Since 2015, she has been a Collaborating Researcher at the Center of Excellence in Energy and Power Systems (CEESP) at UFSM. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Regional University of the Northwest of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (UNIJUI), with an emphasis on Energy System (2014). Completes the Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (2017), Special Graduation Program for Teacher Training for Professional Education (2019) and Doctorate in Electrical Engineering (2022) at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). He is dedicated to the following areas of study Electrical Power Systems, Planning and Operation of Electrical Power Systems, Reliability of the Electrical Power System, Electrical Power Transmission, Distributed Energy Resources.

Suelen Cristiane Freitag é Professora Adjunto da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), Santa Maria, RS, Brasil, lotado no Departamento de Eletromecânica e Sistemas de Potência (DESP). Em 2021 atuou no Instituto Federal do Paraná (IFPR), campus Jacarezinho, PR, Brasil, como Professora Substituta vinculada ao Curso de Engenharia de Controle e Automação e Curso de Eletrotécnica. Desde 2015, é Pesquisadora-Colaborada do Centro de Excelência em Energia e Sistemas de Potência (CEESP) da UFSM. É formada em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Regional do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (UNIJUI), com ênfase em Sistema Energia (2014). Conclui o Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica (2017), Programa Especial de Graduação de Formação de Professores para a Educação Profissional (2019) e o Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica (2022) na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Dedica-se às seguintes áreas de estudo Sistemas Elétricos de Potência, Planejamento e Operação de Sistemas de Energia Elétrica, Confiabilidade do Sistema Elétrico de Potência, Transmissão de Energia Elétrica, Recursos Energéticos Distribuídos.
