Pesquisadora e Curadora da Coleção entomológica do Instituto Butantan. onde desenvolvo pesquisa, leciono e publico nas áreas de Saúde Única (One Health), com ênfase em Entomologia Médica (Taxonomia Integrativa, Biodiversidade,Eco-epidemiologia e Curadoria de Insetos de Interesse médico humano e veterinário), e Diversidade e Inclusão na Ciência. Sou Membra-fundadora e vice-presidente do Capítulo Brasileiro da Women in Global Health, e membra da "Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World", da Planetary Health Alliance, da Rede de Dipteristas do Brasil, da Rede Brasileira de Mulheres Cientistas, e de diversas outras Redes de apoio à Mulheres Na Ciência. Coordeno cursos de extensão e componho o corpo docente da Especialização em Animais de Interesse em Saúde: Biologia Animal, oferecidos anualmente pelo Instituto Butantan, e o corpo editorial da Seção Especial "Invertebrate Physiology" da revista científica Frontiers in Physiology. Paralelamente atuo na área de divulgação científica, principalmente relacionada a mosquitos, arboviroses e doenças negligenciadas, e sou fundadora e administradora dos perfis de divulgação científica: @conhecendoosmosquitos e @entomologuia. Possuo conhecimento em outras áreas como: controle e resistência de vetores; e criação e manutenção de banco de dados relacional.

Researcher and Curator of the Entomological Collection of Instituto Butantan. where I develop research, teach and publish in the areas of One Health, with an emphasis on Medical Entomology (Integrative Taxonomy, Biodiversity, Eco-epidemiology and Curation of Insects of Human and Veterinary Medical Importance), and Diversity and Inclusion in Science.I am a founding member and vice-president of the Brazilian Chapter of Women in Global Health, and a member of the "Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World", the "Planetary Health Alliance", the "Brazilian Network of Dipterists", the "Brazilian Network of Women Scientists" , and several other Support Networks for Women in Science.I coordinate extension courses and make up the faculty of the Specialization in "Animals of Interest in Health: Animal Biology", offered annually by the Butantan Institute, and the editorial board of the Special Section "Invertebrate Physiology" of the scientific journal Frontiers in Physiology. At the same time, I work in the area of #8203;#8203;scientific dissemination, mainly related to mosquitoes, arboviruses and neglected diseases, and I am the founder and administrator of the scientific dissemination profiles: @conhecendoosmosquitos and @entomologuia.I have knowledge in other areas such as: vector control and resistance; and relational database creation and maintenance.
