Célia regina Moretti Meirelles

Civil Engineer from the State University of Maringá (1984), Master in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1993), and PhD. in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1998). She is currently Associate Professor I at Mackenzie Presbyterian University. The minister lectures on Architecture and Urbanism.She has been teaching and researching with an emphasis on Technology Architecture and Urbanism since 1997, with topics such as construction processes, sustainability, structure in the design of Architecture, and innovative construction processes. She has been part of the faculty of the post-graduation in Architecture and Urbanism - PPGAU FAU Mackenzie since 2009, in 2019, she started to work as a permanent professor.Leader of the research group Construction Systems in Contemporary Architecture. Participated as an appraiser with FAPESP in PIPE program's Innovative Research in Small Companies. It presents research on the riverside communities of the Amazon, their way of life, construction techniques, and culture. It is inserted in a research network, with the iteration group of UFAM Federal University of Amazonas, together with an international network. Engenheira Civil pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1984), mestre em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade de São Paulo (1993) e doutora em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade de São Paulo (1998). Atua como professora desde 1997 na graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo, na Universidade São Marcos de 1997 a 2007 e no Universidade Paulista como professor Titular de 2001 a 2004. Atualmente é professora adjunto I da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Trabalha no ensino e Pesquisa com ênfase na área de Tecnologia da Arquitetura e Urbanismo desde 1997, com temas como: processos construtivos, sustentabilidade, estrutura na concepção Arquitetura, processos construtivos inovadores. Integra o quadro de professores da Pós-graduação stricto-sensu em Arquitetura e Urbanismo - PPGAU FAU Mackenzie, desde 2009, em 2019 passa a compor o quadro de professor permanente. Sendo Líder do grupo de pesquisa Sistemas construtivos na Arquitetura Contemporânea. Apresenta projeto de pesquisas sobre as comunidades ribeirinhas do Amazonas, modo de vida, as técnicas construtivas e cultura, e esta inserida em uma rede de pesquisa, com o grupo Iteração da UFAM Universidade Federal do Amazonas, em conjunto com uma rede internacional. Participou como avaliador junto a FAPESP em programas PIPE Pesquisa Inovativa em Pequenas Empresas. Participa do CAPES_PRINT no projeto Cidade, Projeto e Equidade: das linguagens e apropriações às formas de regulação por meio da colaboração internacional com a Escola Superior de Arquitetura da Universidade de Sevilha, ETSA-US e Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie
