Jovanir Lage

PhD in Religious Sciences with emphasis on archeology and history of the Ancient Orient. Master of Science in Religion from the Methodist University of São Paulo (2016). Bachelor in Theology (UMESP - 2010). In his area of ​​research he works mainly in the following subjects: Old Testament, culture and religion of Israel and the neighboring peoples, monotheism, cultural and religious influence, sociology, history of Israel, ecumenism and religious dialogue.

Teólogo (2010), mestre em Ciências da Religião (2016) e doutor em Ciências da Religião (2021) pela Universidade Metodista de São Paulo. Atualmente é diretor do Instituto Metodista Teológico João Ramos Júnior e professor de exegese e teologia do Antigo Testamento e Hebraico bíblico instrumental. Tem experiência na área de Teologia, com ênfase em Ciências da Religião, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: biblia hebraica, sociologia bíblica, contexto literário e histórico do Antigo Testamento, diálogo inter-religioso e ecumenismo.
