Germano Paulo Johansson Neto

Doutorando no Programa de Pós Graduação do Instituto de Ciência Política na Universidade de Brasília. Mestre em Engenharia de Infraestrutura de Transportes pela Viterbi School of Engineering e Mestre em Planejamento (Urbano e Regional) pela Sol Price School, ambos pela University of Southern California (2016) com bolsa integral da CAPES/CNPq. Pós graduado em Engenharia Ferroviária pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (2012) com bolsa integral da VALE. Graduado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2011). Atuou em projetos de infraestrutura de grande porte e também em projetos de modelagem e modernização de sistemas de transportes públicos em diversas cidades do Brasil e da América Latina. Experiência em grandes projetos de infraestrutura nas áreas de operação/manutenção, construção, projetos, estudos de viabilidade, modelagens econômicas e desenhos regulatórios. Trabalhou também como pesquisador na University of Southern California, dentro do Centro de Cidades Sustentáveis (USC) estudando políticas energéticas e trabalhou na Port Authority of New York and New Jersey com estudos de viabilidade para sistemas de transporte público. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Civil, com ênfase em Transportes, na área de Planejamento Urbano e na área de Políticas Públicas. Desde 2019 atua como Assessor Parlamentar no Senado Federal.

PhD Candidate from the University of Brasilia. Master of Planning with a certificate in Public Policy from the University of Southern California (2016) and a Master in Transportation Engineering from the University of Southern California (2015). Post graduate studies in Railroad Engineering from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais (2012). Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (2011), also studied courses from the Integrated Master in Regional Planning in the University of Porto Engineering School. Worked in large infrastructure projects in Curitiba, and also with modelling and modernizing projects in public transportation systems and urban mobility in different cities of Latin America. Has experience in the infrastructure sector. Worked as a researcher in the University of Southern California, inside the Sustainable development Center with research projects in Latin America, and worked as an intern-consultant in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Since 2019 works as a Legislative Assistant at the Brazolian Federal Senate.
