Professora Substituta em Biologia, Agroecologia, Gestão Ambiental e Educação Ambiental no IFMG-Campus Bambuí. Doutora pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Fitotecnia da Universidade Federal de Lavras, tendo como linha de pesquisa Propagação e manejo de Frutíferas de Clima Tropical. . Foi bolsista CAPES/EMBRAPA durante o doutorado. Professora/Pesquisadora membro do NEABI IFMG Campus Bambui. Atualmente é coordenadora e docente dos projetos de extensão Coletivo Negro IFMG- Campus Bambuí: negritude, afirmação e construção da identidade através da educação, no projeto Lugar de Mulher é onde ela quiser e Agroecologia como instrumento político e educacional dentro do IFMG campus Bambui, É mestre em Botânica Aplicada e Licenciada em Ciencias Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de Alfenas/UNIFAL-MG (2012), atuando na área de Propagação Vegetal e Ecofisiologia de Annonaceae. Durante a graduação e pós graduação atuou em áreas de Educação e Educação Ambiental em Projetos de Extensão e Escolas Públicas, Agroecologia, Maracatu como instrumento de formação educacional e cultural. Temas de interesse: Educação e relações étnico-raciais, Educação para a Diversidade, Gênero e Sexualidade, Feminismo negro, profissão docente, formação de educadores, Cultura e religiosidade afro-brasileira, Agroecologia.
