Porfirio Sunagua Salgado

He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the State University of Campinas (2014) and master's degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (1995). Has experience in the area of ​​mathematics, with an emphasis in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, acting on the following subjects: mathematics education, mathematical analysis and analysis of temporal data. Current research is operacioal research with emphasis on large scale linear programming problems involving the simplex and interior point methods.

Possui doutorado em Matemática Aplicada pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2014) e mestrado pela Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (1995). Tem experiência na área de Matemática, com ênfase em Matemática Aplicada e Estatística, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação matemática, analise matemática e analise de dados temporais. A pesquisa atual é pesquisa operacioal com ênfase em problemas de programação linear de grande porte envolvendo métodos simplex e pontos interiores.
