Andre Sznajder
Associate professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Graduated in Physics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1991), master's degree from the Brazilian Center for Physical Research (1993), doctorate from the Brazilian Center for Physical Research (1998). He did a postdoctoral internship at CERN in 2007 and was a visiting researcher at Fermilab in 2011. He was a member of the D0 experiment at Fermilab from 1993 to 2004 and since 2005 has been a member of the CERN CMS experiment. He has experience in the field of Experimental Particle Physics, working mainly in the study of Higgs Boson Physics and Vector Boson Scattering using Deep Neural Networks (DNN). He is currently a member of the CNPq Advisory Committee (CA-FA) and is a Scientist of Our State (FAPERJ).
Professor Associado da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1991), mestrado pelo Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas (1993), doutorado pelo Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas (1998). Ele fez um estágio de pós-doutorado no CERN em 2007 e foi pesquisador visitante no Fermilab em 2011. Ele foi membro do experimento D0 no Fermilab de 1993 a 2004 e desde 2005 é membro do experimento CMS do CERN. Tem experiência na área de Física Experimental de Partículas, atuando principalmente no estudo da Física do Boson de Higgs e Espalhamento do Boson Vetorial utilizando Redes Neurais Profundas (DNN). Atualmente é membro do Comitê de Acessor do CNPq (CA-FA) e é Cientista do Nosso Estado (FAPERJ).
