Tamara Azevedo Schueler

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas: Microbiologia e Imunologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2013) e Mestrado em Ciências (Microbiologia) também pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2016). Tem experiência na área de Microbiologia, com ênfase em Microbiologia Industrial e de Fermentação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: produção de pigmentos carotenoides, lipídeos e biopolímeros. Foi bolsista PCI no Centro de Tecnologia Mineral (CETEM-RJ) (2016-2018) atuando na área de biossolubilização de agrominerais. Atualmente é pesquisadora assistente na Clausthal University of Technology (Alemanha) onde desenvolve seu doutorado na área de lixiviação química e biológica de rejeitos da mineração, sendo esse projeto parte do MSCA-ETN-SULTAN - European Training Network for the Remediation and Reprocessing of Sulfidic Mining Waste Sites.

She has a degree in Biological Sciences: Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2013) and a Master in Sciences (Microbiology) also from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2016). She has experience in the area of Microbiology, with emphasis on Industrial and Fermentation Microbiology, working mainly on the following topics: production of carotenoid pigments, lipids and biopolymers. She was a PCI Fellow at the Mineral Technology Center (CETEM-RJ) (2016-2018) working in the area of biosolubilization of agrominerals. She is currently an assistant researcher at Clausthal University of Technology (Germany) where she is developing her PhD in the area of chemical and biological leaching of mining waste, being this project part of MSCA-ETN-SULTAN - European Training Network for the Remediation and Reprocessing of Sulfidic Mining Waste Sites.
