André Vieira Sonoda

Doutor em Etnomusicologia (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Música/ Universidade Federal da Paraíba - PPGM/ UFPB - 2023), Mestre em Etnomusicologia (PPGM/ UFPB - 2008), Especialista em Etnomusicologia (Núcleo de Etnomusicologia/ Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - UFPE - 2003) e Graduado em Música Licenciatura (UFPE - 1999). Professor de Áudio Digital do Departamento de Mídias Digitais da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (DEMID/ UFPB)(2012 - Atual), tendo exercido a função de Chefe de Departamento entre 2017-2019. Pesquisador e atual líder do Núcleo de Ciência e Tecnologias Aplicadas (NCTA/ UFPB/ CNPq). Pesquisador Associado ao Grupo de Pesquisa - Conforto Ambiental e Eficiência Energética nas Edificações e no Meio Urbano (CNPq/ PPGAU/ UFPB - 2016). Pesquisador Associado ao Núcleo de Etnomusicologia da UFPE. É autor de livros e artigos científicos publicados em periódicos e eventos científicos nacionais e internacionais, além de revisor de periódicos científicos internacionais. Atua principalmente nas áreas de Ensino e Pesquisa com foco em Metodologia Científica, Física do Som, Acústica de Ambientes, Tecnologia de Áudio, Registros Sonoros e Etnomusicologia com especificidade em Música Brasileira, além de desenvolvimento de Projetos Culturais, Projetos de Engenharia de Áudio (Produção Fonográfica) e Projetos Acústicos (Estúdios/ Auditórios/ Salas de Concerto). Em 2018, foi aprovado em seleção pública do Projeto de Cooperação entre a Fundação Joaquim Nabuco (FUNDAJ), o Ministério da Educação (MEC) e a Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, a Ciência e a Cultura (UNESCO) para desenvolvimento de pesquisa e criação de acervo sonoro. Em 2019, foi convidado para integrar a Comissão do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Música da UFPB (PPGM/ UFPB) para Implementação de Cooperação Acadêmica Internacional entre a Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB) e a Örebro University (Suécia).

PhD in Ethnomusicology (Graduate Program in Music/ Federal University of Paraíba - PPGM/ UFPB - 2023), Master in Ethnomusicology (PPGM/ UFPB - 2008), Specialist in Ethnomusicology (Ethnomusicology Nucleus/ Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE - 2003) and Graduated in Music (UFPE ? 1999). Professor of Digital Audio at the Department of Digital Media at the Federal University of Paraíba (DEMID/ UFPB)(2012 ? Current), having served as Head of Department between 2017 and 2019. Researcher and current leader of the Nucleus of Science and Applied Technologies (NCTA/ UFPB/ CNPq), Researcher of the Research Group Environmental Comfort and Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Urban Environment (PPGAU/ UFPB/ CNPq)(2016 - Current), in addition to Researcher of the Nucleus of Ethnomusicology at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Author of books and articles published in national and international journals and scientific events, as well as Reviewer of International Scientific Journals. He works with teaching and research focused on Scientific Methodology, Physics of Sound, Acoustics, Audio Engineering and Ethnomusicology (Brazilian Music), as well as in the conception/ implementation of Applied Technology Projects, in addition to Acoustics Projects (Studios/ Auditoriums/ Concert Halls). In 2018, he was approved in the public selection of the Cooperation Project between the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation (FUNDAJ), the Ministry of Education (MEC/ BRAZIL) and UNESCO with the purpose of developing research and creating an Institutional Phonographic Collection. In 2019, he was invited to join the Committee of the Graduate Program in Music at the Federal University of Paraíba (PPGM/ UFPB) for the implementation of the International Academic Cooperation between the Federal University of Paraíba and Orebro University (Sweden).
