Dr. Uebel completed a postdoctoral internship in the Postgraduate Program in Geography at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He holds a Ph.D. in International Strategic Studies from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, specializing in International Politics. He earned a Master's degree in Geography (UFRGS), and is a specialist in Public Management (UFSM), Municipal Public Management (UNIFESP), and Big Data and Marketing Intelligence (ESPM). He is an Economist and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Maria, having been approved with excellence by the examining board and received an honorary mention by the Regional Council of Economics of Rio Grande do Sul. He is also a Specialist in the effective use of energy resources by the International Sustainable Energy Development Center under the auspices of UNESCO and the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples. He has technical training in Administration (Management in Computing) by Colégio Marista Pio XII. He is currently pursuing a degree in Geography at the Faveni University Center. In the specific technical area of Administration, he has training lines in Foreign Trade, Market Economy, Human Resources Management, and ESG. He works in the following research lines: international migrations, refuge and trafficking of people, borders, regional integration, Brazil and United States relations and North American politics, geopolitics, energy and natural resources, and Brazilian foreign policy with emphasis on immigration. He is a researcher of the following research groups certified by CNPq: State and Territory Laboratory (LABETER/UFRGS), Actors and Agendas in International Relations (ESPM-POA), and Sea Economy Group (GEM/EGN-FURG). He is a researcher of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO). He is a Senior Fellow (Professional Associate Researcher) of the South American Institute of Politics and Strategy (ISAPE). He has scientific production in the areas of Economic Formation of Brazil, Spanish immigration, comparative migration policies, Brazil and United States of America relations, geopolitics and energy, and international migrations to Brazil and Latin America, COVID-19 and transnational and cross-border migrations. He is a member of the Brazilian Association of International Relations (ABRI), the Brazilian Association of Defense Studies (ABED), the Association for Borderlands Studies (ABS), the National Association of Researchers of the History of the Teuto-Brazilian Communities (ANPHCTB), the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP), and the International Studies Association (ISA). Mestre em Geografia (UFRGS), Especialista em Gestão Pública (UFSM), Gestão Pública Municipal (UNIFESP) e Big Data e Inteligência de Marketing (ESPM). Economista e Bacharel em Ciências Econômicas pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, aprovado com excelência pela banca examinadora e recebeu menção honrosa pelo Conselho Regional de Economia do Rio Grande do Sul. Também é Especialista em Uso efetivo de recursos energéticos pelo International Sustainable Energy Development Center under the auspices of UNESCO e pela Universidade Russa da Amizade dos Povos. Possui formação técnica em Administração (Gestão em Informática) pelo Colégio Marista Pio XII. Graduando em Geografia no Centro Universitário Faveni. Na área técnica específica em Administração possui linhas de formação em Comércio Exterior, Economia de Mercado, Gestão de Recursos Humanos e ESG. Atua nas seguintes linhas de pesquisa: migrações internacionais, refúgio e tráfico de pessoas, fronteiras, integração regional, relações Brasil e Estados Unidos e política norte-americana, geopolítica, energia e recursos naturais e política externa brasileira com ênfase em imigração. É pesquisador dos seguintes grupos de pesquisa certificados pelo CNPq: Laboratório Estado e Território (LABETER/UFRGS), Atores e Agendas nas Relações Internacionais (ESPM-POA) e Grupo de Economia do Mar (GEM/EGN-FURG). Pesquisador do Consejo Latino-Americano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO). Senior Fellow (Pesquisador Associado Profissional) do Instituto Sul-Americano de Política e Estratégia (ISAPE). Possui produção científica nas áreas de Formação Econômica do Brasil, imigração espanhola, políticas migratórias comparadas, relações Brasil e Estados Unidos da América, geopolítica e energia, e migrações internacionais para o Brasil e América Latina, COVID-19 e migrações transnacionais e transfronteiriças.
