Lucas Eduardo Guimarães

Ph.D. candidate in Social Psychology in the Graduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (research line: Culture, Modernity, and Subjectivity), with a master's and bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution. They are an investigator with the Civil Police of the State of Minas Gerais, currently assigned to the Institutional Planning Advisory of the Chief of Staff. They have served as a mobilized employee with the General Coordination of Research and Innovation (Directorate of Public Security Policies - DPSP/National Public Security Secretariat - Senasp/Ministry of Justice and Public Security - CGPI/DPSP/Senasp/MJSP); and as a guest professor for Public Security Intelligence Training at the same Ministry. They were also part of the working group for the revision of the National Public Security and Social Defense Plan 2021-2030, with the Executive Secretariat of the MJSP. They have coordinated the working group on Missing Persons Investigation, which is part of the National Policy for the Search for Missing Persons, and have also served as Deputy Manager. They teach at the Civil Police Academy of Minas Gerais (ACADEPOL) in police training courses, in the areas of Applied Human Rights and Introduction to Intelligence Activity. At the same institution, they developed and taught the course "Criminal Profiling and Behavioral Indicators" as part of a specialization (lato sensu) program in Criminology. They were a member of the State Committee for Attention to Migrants, Refugees, and Stateless Persons, Combating Human Trafficking, and Eradicating Slave Labor (COMITRATE-MG). They co-produced and presented the program "Alerta Minas - Missing Persons" on Rádio Inconfidência AM in Minas Gerais.

É doutorando em Psicologia Social pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (linha de pesquisa: Cultura, Modernidade e Subjetividade), com mestrado e graduação em Psicologia pela mesma instituição. É investigador da Polícia Civil do Estado de Minas Gerais, atualmente lotado na Assessoria de Planejamento Institucional, da Chefia de Gabinete. Atuou como servidor mobilizado junto à Coordenação-Geral de Pesquisa e Inovação (Diretoria de Políticas de Segurança Pública - DPSP/Secretaria Nacional de Segurança Pública - Senasp/ do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública - CGPI/DPSP/Senasp/MJSP); é professor convidado de Capacitação em Inteligência de Segurança Pública do mesmo Ministério. Junto à Secretaria Executiva do MJSP, fez parte do grupo de trabalho para a revisão do Plano Nacional de Segurança Pública e Defesa Social 2021-2030. Coordenou o grupo de trabalho de Investigação de Desaparecimento de Pessoas, parte da Política Nacional de Busca de Pessoas Desaparecidas, da qual também foi gerente-adjunto. Leciona na Academia de Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais (ACADEPOL) nos cursos de formação policial, nas áreas de Direitos Humanos Aplicados e Introdução à Atividade de Inteligência. Na mesma instituição, elaborou e ministrou a disciplina "Profiling Criminal e indícios comportamentais" do curso de especialização (lato senso) em Criminologia. Foi membro do Comitê Estadual de Atenção ao Migrante, Refugiado e Apátrida, Enfrentamento ao Tráfico de Pessoas e Erradicação do Trabalho Escravo (COMITRATE-MG). Co-produziu e apresentou o programa "Alerta Minas - Pessoas Desaparecidas", da Rádio Inconfidência AM de Minas Gerais.
